Experienced Staff Accountant – Audit

Main Responsibilities

DMCL Chartered Professional Accountants is seeking a dynamic, bright, client-service oriented individual with 1-2 years of public practice experience!  This is a full-time, pre-approved program position for our Downtown Vancouver office.

During your articling experience with DMCL, you will:

  • Work individually on the preparation of working paper files, tax returns and various other accounting assignments
  • Work as part of an audit team in the execution of assurance engagements
  • Communicate directly with clients and third parties to obtain necessary information for task completion


Qualifications, Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree with an emphasis on accounting
  • Current enrollment in CPA PEP
  • 1-2 years of public practice experience
  • Public company audit experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service
  • Detail oriented individual with superior organizational and analytical skills
  • A desire to learn and contribute to the team
  • Adaptability and flexibility;
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong MS Office computer skills with the ability to grasp new technological tool
