A New Visual Identity: Evolving the DMCL Brand
As of January 1, 2026, DMCL has introduced a refreshed brand identity, including a new logo and visual system. While our look has changed, our focus has not. We remain the same firm, with the same people, values, and commitment to providing practical, high-quality accounting and advisory services.
This refresh reflects a deliberate step forward for DMCL. It’s the result of a multi-month process involving input from partners and staff across the firm, guided by a desire to ensure our brand accurately represents who we are today and how our clients experience working with us.
Why we refreshed our brand
Over time, DMCL has evolved in meaningful ways. Our client base has grown more diverse, our services have expanded, and the work we do has become increasingly complex. At the same time, our relationships with clients have remained central to how we operate.
Our previous visual identity no longer fully captured that balance. Refreshing our brand gave us the opportunity to better align how we present ourselves with the way we actually work: grounded, relationship-driven, and confident in our expertise, while continuing to move forward as a modern firm.
This update isn’t about changing direction. It’s about clarifying and strengthening how we show up.
Behind the new brand
The refreshed DMCL logo is built around a single symbol designed to carry multiple meanings. At its simplest, the icon resembles a plus sign—a familiar reference in accounting and a reflection of our role in adding value for clients. It also suggests upward movement, echoing growth, progress, and forward momentum.
The form of the icon subtly mirrors the structure of Vancouver’s Lions Gate Bridge, a local reference that represents connection and partnership. This symbolism reflects an important part of our work: helping bridge the gap between where our clients are today and where they want to be.
The logo’s geometry balances structure with softness: sharp angles paired with curved elements, reinforcing the ideas of integrity, balance, and clarity. This same thinking carries through the broader visual system, including typography and colour, creating a brand that feels modern, confident, and mature, without losing its sense of stability or approachability.
What this means for our clients
For our clients, this refresh doesn’t change how we work together. You’ll continue to work with the same advisors and receive the same thoughtful, relationship-driven service you expect from DMCL.
What has changed is how clearly our brand reflects that experience. The refreshed identity is intended to better represent the trust, collaboration, and forward-looking guidance that define our client relationships.
We see this update as a natural evolution of DMCL—one that more accurately reflects who we are today and supports where we’re headed next.
