Regulatory Services
Publicly reporting entities - Audits are mandatory for publicly traded corporations and in certain other regulatory environments. In some jurisdictions review level comfort is also required for interim financial reporting. The audit of public entities requires rigorous standards and procedures that go beyond those of the private sector.
Auditing and advisory services for publicly listed entities (and those intending to go public) has evolved into a specialized professional discipline. The field requires the highest level of current knowledge of GAAP and GAAS and securities related laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions. Practicing in the regulatory environment requires experienced, knowledgeable and committed personnel who are highly skilled and understand the industry.
